I can paint.

Hello lovelies,

Happy Wednesday! I thought I would just post my outfit from today and just do a little check in with you this evening.

I don't normally do this but I think part of me would like to have some more relaxed blog posts. I realized that I use instagram EVERYDAY to connect with my friends, and amazing men and women around the world who are inspiring and have unbelievable content... but I don't have that opportunity to do the same thing in my own little corner of the internet. I mentioned in my last post how I have been feeling inspired more recently but sometimes I think that I have trouble with content on my blog because I cannot just share some of the more simple ideas and thoughts on my mind.

My blog is my own and something I actually do pay money for year round and to not use it as my main source of creativity almost feels like a shame. This may sound silly but I sometimes fear that if someday Instagram is no longer, all that work and invested time will have just been snatched away from me. I doubt it is going anywhere right now since it has truly become the social media everyone is sharing their lives on, but I want to invest more in my own space. My love of fashion, art, and photography will never fade or disappear so I will be focusing on using a platform that will support it forever.

I came across a quote today that I loved, and thought it was appropriate for this post today as well.

"If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." -- Vincent Van Gogh

I think all of us can read that quote and probably relate to a voice saying that we cannot do something, and it is always super important to prove that voice wrong. We can do anything we set our minds to do.

A bientôt mes amis! Bisous xx
